Get your school moving and make a difference

Help your students get the exercise they need and raise money to save hearts across Australia

Being active is one of the most important ways that children can improve their health and wellbeing. Jump Rope for Heart can get kids moving, helping them (and your school!) to meet the Physical Activity and Exercise Guidelines for all Australians.

Jump Rope for Heart helps primary schools meet mandatory weekly requirements for student participation in sport and physical activity, while also encouraging students to build a positive attitude towards exercise, healthy eating and heart health.

How to get involved

The Jump Rope for Heart program typically runs for 5 to 10 weeks, kicking off with a school-wide launch event to get everyone excited.
Each week, students take part in regular skipping sessions, building their skills while having fun.

Throughout the program, students track their progress and fundraise using our secure online portal. With the support our instructional videos and activity guides to practise at home and school, our Heart Heroes learn new skipping skills that they’ll get to showcase at the Jump Off Day, the school's celebration of their achievements and impact.
